Fibroblast & Micro trauma

The micro trauma caused by the derma pen stimulates Fibroblasts, existing collagen and elastin in the skin, which are responsible for the development of new, younger looking skin. The result- tighter and stronger skin.

Though the procedure is relatively painless, the intense heat created by plasma pen causes dots to appear on the skin, which wears off after a few days. The Fibroblasts are stimulated immediately and the change on the surface of the skin is apparent upon completion.

The skin will continue to produce new cells up to eight weeks after the session. The result will be refined fine lines and wrinkles, and an improvement on the overall complexion of the skin.

Fibroblasts are needed for the constant healing and rejuvenation of the skin, which is done by creating new collagen and extra cellular matrix (ECM)

Facial and Body Rejuvenation

Facial rejuvenation with plasma is an exiting offering. Plasma can give you amazing results, only normally achieved by surgery. It is a viable alternative to Botox and fillers, without using injectables. Hyperpigmentation and discolouration from photo damage can be reversed, fine lines and wrinkles reduce dramatically, and the skins overall appearance is more youthful.

Not only can plasma be used for eye/eyelid correction, hooded eyes, neck lifts and mini face lifts, it can also be used on other areas of the body, battling loose stomach skin and stretch marks. Minor skin lesions like skin tags are easily removed. Results are accurate and fast and long lasting.
What to Expect from Plasma Treatment

To ensure your comfort a local anaesthetic cream can will be applied before commencing the procedure. Yu can expect a small degree of swelling when treating the eye area, which usually resolves quickly within 3 or 4 days.

Small circular carbon crusts form at each treatment point, which slough away after a few days, but may take up to a week to completely clear. After care products expedite healing, and minimise infection risk. Once the skin has healed you will be left with more youthful, radiant skin.

The results from this treatment are dramatic and long lasting, so usually a single treatment is enough to achieve the results you want.

However if you want a stronger result then procedure can be repeated after 3 months. Because of its permanency repeat treatments are only required further as you genetically age.
